ORDINARY MEMBERSHIP

Hours of Play
Ordinary Members are entitled to unrestricted play seven days a week subject to competitions and visitor bookings etc.

Costs

Joining Fee: £965
Annual Subscription: £965
The Joining Fee can be paid in one instalment or in four equal payments viz 25% on admission, 25% in 12 months, 25% in 24 months & 25% in 36 months. Please note:  A member resigning before the joining fee has been paid in full is still liable for the outstanding balance – this is a condition of membership being offered. The subscription year runs from 01 June – 31 May. The subscription can be spread over ten months using the Club’s finance partner, Fairway Credit, who add a small additional charge of approximately 6.75%.  Fairway Credit forms are available from the Secretary’s Office.

Club-Card Deposit £100

Ordinary members are required to deposit £100 annually which is redeemable against food and drink purchases. The card can be ‘topped up’ when required and currently provides a discount of 15% on list prices for drinks.

Other Information

All male members are required to pay the SG/AGA subscription, currently £17.00.  All female members are requir to pay the SG subscription, currently £14.50.

General

All applications for membership require to be proposed and seconded by two existing Club members or sponsored by the Captain and Vice-Captain acting together on the submission of two verifiable references.

INTERMEDIATE MEMBERSHIP

Eligibility
Age 18 – 30.

Hours of Play

Unrestricted.

Competitions

Intermediate members are entitled to play in all medals and club knock-out competitions

Costs

Annual Subscription: For those aged 18-24, equivalent to one third of Ordinary Members fee: £321. For those aged 25-30, equivalent to one half of Ordinary Members fee: £483. There is no entrance fee. The subscription year runs from 01 June – 31 May. Payment of the Annual Subscription and associated costs can be spread over ten months using the Club’s finance partner (see Ordinary Member section)

Other Information
All male members are required to pay an SG/AGA Affiliation Fee, currently £17.00.  All female members are required to pay an SG Affiliation Fee, currently £14.50.

General
All applications for membership require to be proposed and seconded by two existing Club members or sponsored by the Captain and Vice-Captain acting together on the submission of two verifiable references. Intermediate Members may subsequently apply for admission for Ordinary Membership up to the end of the subscription year in which they attain their 30th birthday, at which point Intermediate Membership will cease.  Such applications shall have priority over applications which may be on a waiting list. Intermediate Members who have not previously been Junior Members of the Club will require to pay an entry fee on applying for Ordinary membership.  The entry fee payable shall be equivalent to one annual Ordinary subscription subject to a reduction of 10% for each year as an Intermediate Member up to a maximum reduction of 70%

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP

Eligibility
Junior Membership is available to boys and girls aged between 8 and 18

Saturday:       10:30am – 12noon and after 2:00pm (1:00pm Nov-Mar)
Sunday:         After 1:30pm (1:00pm Nov-Mar)
 
Costs
Under 12 years of age on 1st June: £80
12 and over on 1st June: £120
The subscription year runs from 01 April – 31 March.
 
Competitions
A number of medal and other competitions are organised for Juniors throughout the year.  Junior members with a handicap of 11 or under may play in senior medal competitions.  Junior members with a handicap of 5 or under may play in senior medals and other senior competitions except for match-play events.
 
General
All applications for membership require to be proposed and seconded by two existing Club members or sponsored by the Captain and Vice-Captain acting together on the submission of two verifiable references. Junior members who have been members for 3 years immediately preceding their 18th birthday and who wish to move to Intermediate membership and thereafter to Ordinary membership are not required to pay a joining fee and will have priority on the waiting lists. There is a dedicated Junior room for use by Junior members which includes Sky TV.  The room has recently been refurbished and redecorated.  The Sunday tee times are guaranteed for Junior members. 

LITTLE NICKS

Eligibility
Little Nicks membership is available to boys and girls aged from 6 to 8.

Hours of Play
Sunday 2:00pm – 3:00pm
Little Nicks may play at other times if accompanied by a member
 
Costs
One-off joining fee:                £30
Weekly Coaching:                  £2.50 per session
 
General
The Little Nicks membership is open to all children aged 6-7 regardless of whether they have a parent or grandparent etc who is a member of the club. Little Nicks receive coaching from the Club Professional on Sundays throughout the summer months between 2:00pm and 3:00pm. Parents etc are encouraged to watch their children receive coaching and use the clubhouse, subject to adhering to the club dress code, regardless of whether or not they are members of the Club. Little Nicks receive a logo’d polo shirt and cap as part of their membership.

Please Note: Places are limited and there is currently a small waiting list.

COUNTRY MEMBERSHIP

Eligibility
In order to qualify for Country membership the applicant’s principal residence must not lie within 60 miles of the Clubhouse

Hours of Play

Unrestricted play; Country Members are entitled to play in all medals and Club-Knockout competitions.

Annual Subscription: £335
The subscription year runs from 01 June – 31 May.

OVERSEAS MEMBERSHIP

Eligibility
In order to qualify for Overseas membership a candidate must be currently domiciled outside the UK.

Unrestricted play.

Overseas members may play in medals but not in Club knock-out competitions.

Annual Subscription: £295 – Single Payment
The subscription year runs from 01 June – 31 May.

Club Card

Overseas members are NOT required to pay the normal £100 deposit on their Club Card. The card can, however, be ‘topped up’ when required and currently provides a discount of 15% on list prices for drinks.

General

Overseas members may sign on a maximum of 3 guests in any one week. On joining the Club,  Overseas members will receive a Club Polo shirt and a souvenir bag-tag. All applications for membership require to be proposed and seconded by two existing Club members or sponsored by and Vice-Captain acting together on the submission of two verifiable references.

SOCIAL MEMBERSHIP

Eligibility
Non-playing (Social) membership is open to any adult who wishes to establish an association with the Club

Costs

Entrance Fee: £10 + VAT (Single payment)
Annual Subscription: £60 + VAT (Single Payment)
The subscription year runs from 1st June to 31st May.

Club Card

Non-Playing (Social) members are required to pay £50 Clubcard deposit which may be used to purchase food or refreshments at the Bar. The Club Card can be “topped up” when required and currently provides a discount of 15% on list prices for drinks.

General

Non-Playing (Social) members may introduce guests in accordance with the Club Rules and Regulations. All applicants for Non-Playing (Social) membership require to be proposed and seconded by two existing club members.
