Hello Gentlemen,
43 of us entered the Final Draw for today’s Par Bogey event. Unfortunately, early morning the forecasted heavy rain and strong winds took their toll on some of those entrants, many of whom arrived and made their decision near the first tee. In fact 24 intrepid golfers took part in this event. Results In First Place with a score of +2 was Tom Bissett who will be credited with £ 8.00. In Second equal Place with a score of 0 were Ian Burns & Peter Mackie who will each be credited with £ 6.00. In Third equal Place with a score of -1 were Andrew Henderson and Stuart Millar who will each be credited with £ 2.00. Today three persons paid their £ 1.00 in the Professional Shop but later decided not to play. That £3 will go to the Prize Fund with our grateful thanks. Can you add to the 9 worst ways to make bogey?

Hello Gentlemen,
Many thanks to all of those 41 of us who took part in today’s Oor Ryder Cup event in excellent weather. It was, in my humble opinion a very successful one, especially for those who played for the nearer continent, who, being less tired by the amount of travel managed to defeat the mighty USA team by a stonking 22 Points to 11. The aforementioned result does not eclipse the endeavours of some of our golfers. In First place with a massive 48 Points were Gordon Campbell and Jim Wilson In Second place with 45 Points were Stuart Millar and Robert Wardrope In Third place with 43 Points were Team Captains Kevin Scott and Mike McDougall In Fourth Place with 41 Points were George Shearer and Ricky Byrne. Nearest the pin at 2nd Hole – Gordon Campbell Nearest the pin in 2 at 17th Hole – Stuart Millar. Hello Gentlemen,
