Hello Gentlemen,
Today 40 of us enjoyed fairly windy weather which was quite reasonable for the time of year. Our 3:2:1 event proved to be quite a challenge…..especially for those teams who did not properly complete their cards and submitted 1:2:3 cards (As the errors were easily corrected, they were allowed to re-read the rules and to correct them). Scoring was mixed, ranging from 22.3 to 28.5. Results|: In 1st place with 28.5 points - Team 11 – Comprising Russell Moss and Mike McDougall who will each be credited with £ 5.00. In 2nd place with 28.3 points - Team 4 – Comprising Alan Boyd, George Shearer and Jim Jackson who will each be credited with £ 4.00. In 3rd place with 28.0 points - Team 5 – Comprising Jim Campbell and Chris Phillips who will each be credited with £ 3.00. In 4th equal place with 27.33 points - Teams 1 – Comprising Gordon Arbuthnott, Tom Bissett and George Hunter plus Team 12 - Comprising Jack McGeoch, Sandy Paterson and Andrew Henderson who will each be credited with £ 2.00. The sum of £7.00 including a donation of £1.00 will be added to the prize fund Kind regards, Hugh

Health and Safety / Speed of Play
Your organisers would be obliged if those walking from the 8th green to the 9th tee would use the path provided which takes you along the top of the dunes. By doing that, those playing the 8th can see where you are and can more safely play their shots to the green, plus they also won’t be held up by having to wait for you to clear of their possible target area. (You will also get a great view of the sea from the path) Hello Gentlemen,
Today 43 of us enjoyed fairly dry, windy weather (which was at times really quite tricky) for our first COUNTER of this Session. Scoring was a bit lower than might have been expected, ranging from around 20 to the excellent score of 40 Points attained by George, who finished in 1st Place. Results: In 1st place with 40 points - George Tindle who will be credited with £ 8.00. – (A Handicap Cut of 10% applies) In 2nd place with 38 points – Gordon Arbuthnott who will be credited with £ 6.00. - (A Handicap Cut of 5% applies) In 3rd equal place with 37 points - David Grant and Kevin Scott who will each be credited with £ 5.00. In 4th equal place with 36 points – Alan Boyd, John McGuire and John Reynolds who will each be credited with £ 2.00. The remaining £13.00 will be added to the prize fund ( which needed a top up! ) Kind regards, Hugh |
