WINTER RULES

The Winter Rules are necessary to protect the course over the winter months. On Monday 15th November the white fairway protection posts will be installed and thereafter all golf played on the course will be subject to our winter playing rules, which require the use of Fairway Mats from all areas delineated by those posts. In addition, most competitions will be played as Non-Handicap-Qualifying events. The exceptions are the Winter Foursomes Competition and the Ladies County Winter Foursomes Competition, where competitors will play the ball as it lies on the fairway, with preferred lies being in operation.
